Our Philosophy

For us, Paolo and Nina, Terre di Argillaia is more than our vineyards, more than our olive groves …it is a way of life. It encompasses our land, our work, our neighbors and friends, it is our personal ecosystem. We have both, in the past, dedicated ourselves to our respective careers, finance and the software industry. Now, it is our time to make our own personal contribution. A passion for blending
grapes for our wines and a passion for the blending of our respective entrepreneurial spirits and our different cultures, Italian and American.

We both share the same values and a sense of what is really important in life, doing what is good for the soul. This is the creed with which we live by.

Sometimes our different cultures bring with it a different interpretation thus making our lives and our work together that much more interesting and funny. And this is good because after all, what is life
without laughter and a good glass of wine!

Our neighbors are artisans, generations later of farmers and shopkeepers who cherish the neighborhood of Chianti. There is a pride in preserving what sustained lifetimes of generations. We have been one of the anointed, the keepers of the flame, to carry the traditions forward.

We have been fortunate to see and appreciate that the traditions of the past can only be sustained if nurtured and cared for, to be passed on the new generation. We are that new generation
